Thanks for playing! I definitely messed up a bit with the instructions and collision handling. Right now if the submarine is thrusting into a wall, it will turn to face the wall so its harder to get it out. The submarine has to stop thrusting first before turning away from the wall. Sorry about that!

Thank you so much! Also, the second journal gives you an auto-scan. I thought people might get tired of constantly spamming scan.

Yeah, I should've done better on the instructions and I realized mid-way that the repeated clicking  isn't good, so I made an auto-scan feature but it might have been too little too late.

The clear only clears the screen. The submarine on the radar doesn't rotate. If  the submarine is thrusting into a wall, rotation doesn't work. Rotating and  thrusting are toggle buttons, not presses. But yeah I should have written clearer instructions and playtested more.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for trying to play it! I don't know if you're still interested, but the submarine controls are toggles, not tap buttons.

Yeah, the instructions are a bit obtuse I admit. I should've done better there. The submarine's controls are toggles.

No yeah, I think I made the game too obtuse and a bit too weird. I used rigidbody2d for the sub which instantly rotates it into the wall on collision. So you just have to rotate the sub to face away from the wall before thrusting again. Definitely something I can learn from in the future.

Fantastic artstyle. The sound is also very good. Very scary too. I really like the backstory. Extremely interesting considering scientists are looking for life in the rivers of gas planets right now. Very nice work!

Fun small roguelite!

I like the concept. Going around eating people is very fun. The sound effect for eating people is also pretty satisfying.

The animation style is very cool and unique. Reminds me of old french sci-fi animations like The Fantastic Planet. The gameplay is also interesting and fun.

Didn't expect it to start out super heavy from the beginning. Good movement and artstyle tho. The music is also very nice.

Very fun movement and the character art is very nice to look at.

The artstyle is very good. The ambient sound design is also great. The background and UI art are especially amazing. Really brings you into the environment. Gameplay is unique and well done.

Very cool take on the speaker special object thing. Love the ghosts chasing you around the place.

The underwater submarine is a very cool environment. Having trouble figuring out some of the minigames, The valve keeps resetting to its original position everytime I click on it, so I can't get it to the green. The wires suddenly disappeared while I was in the middle of doing it. Cool environment tho.

Very very fun. The hitbox on the left side extends a little too far. It might be because the tail also extends further than the nose so the hitbox is only correct when the shark is facing the right. Consider either flipping the hitbox too or parenting the sprite to the hitbox so that you only need to flip the hitbox. It is also inconsistent sometimes, but I want to emphasize just how fun it is. You could totally make this into a really fun, full, simple game. Very nice work on the concept.

The visuals are simple yet effective, and the gameplay is smooth. Nice work!

The sonar didn't work for me, but the sounds are nice and the screenshot for the cave map looks very good.

Love the idea of having to type stuff to interact with the environment. The art for the shrimp professor sprite is very nice.

Very fun, had to peel myself away from it. The music switching is nice and the art is cute.

I didn't really understand it, but the art is very nice. I like the otter a lot.

Aight, thanks.

Can the start and select buttons be used for anything or are they reserved for the menus?
