Thanks!  There's more levels and bug fixes in the works so keep an eye out for V2!

A solid implementation of the classic Tents & Trees game!
I agree with  Frédéric that it would be nice to have a difficulty select for different sized boards.
Not sure if it was intentional, but the music would just end while playing the game?  It's nice to have the tune while solving the puzzle!

It could be a nice little addition to the game screen to have the boats move around, even if just a simple back and forth path.

Also, this seems unintentional, but pressing Option 1 on the title screen  would display a grid, and pressing it while in the game would show the answer!

Really nice visuals! The isometric view really makes it stand out from the rest of the games.  It reminds me a lot of the board game Kingdomino (which is an excellent game).
Some nice music would really be the cherry on top of a very enjoyable game.
I agree with Alex, this is my favorite game of the jam!

V2 is definitely the plan!  I just ran out of time to make more levels 😵
Hopefully the next version will have some good head scratchers!

I think there is a bug currently with the sprite data selection when the logs are initialized as sometimes it looks like it is standing up when it should look like it is laying down.
And yeah,  it is extremely short! I plan to add more real levels in the coming weeks and get some actual puzzles not just tutorial levels.

Thanks!  Yeah, I really ran out of time to get any more done on this one.  I plan to add more levels that are actually puzzles and fix a couple pretty bad bugs that have been found already.

Impressive visuals and smooth infinite scroll.  It would be nice to have an on screen indicator of how many gems you've collected, maybe just on the pause screen if you don't want it on the main play area.
I found it to be more effective to just run away from the enemies and grab the gems rather than attack them which it seems is sort of against the point.
Overall very impressive for the time frame allowed!  The music is also excellent.

The Game Boy ding on the startup screen - so good 😂
It sometimes reported a "miss" when the tiles matched which was a bit confusing.
Overall really nicely done.

Nicely implemented candy-crush-like game.  The shake when matching is a great visual.
I mostly agree with Karri on the sound, though I will add there are some nice melodies in there, but the distortion on the bass sounds is rather discordant.
Overall really nicely done!

Difficult but fun! The "mo no" audio clip at the beginning was quite the surprise! (very cool)
A little tune playing during the run would be a nice addition.
Most of my runs ended with about 300 points, but I did eventually get up to 1600!
Playing on a Lynx model 2 it seemed to encounter an issue when transitioning away from the start screen with some regularity.

1600!

Froze after pressing A on start screen

Thanks!  I'm really happy with the chain of explosions too.

Very cool!  Does this mean a cartridge based release?

I like the boss bounce, adds a little more variety to the battle!

Really nice demo!  Would definitely play more.

I think the boss battle could be improved by varying the boss pattern more, maybe the rock pops up in different places or the boss stops at more than just the two edges.

And it's up and running!

Really nice graphics on this one!  The progression of who to steal packages for is pretty funny.  I think some of the drivers need to check which side of the road they're on!

Nicely done. Fits the theme to a T!
I was able to play it in the AtariGamer emulator, but when I put the (lnx) rom on my flash cart in a real Lynx it won't go past the title screen.

(1 edit)

Thanks!   I agree, this would be an excellent candidate for a ComLynx game!  I've not worked with that before as this is the first lynx game I've published, but I'll have to check into it.  I had also considered adding difficulty levels that increase the number of enemies but ran out of time (I only started two days before the jam closed!).

Nicely done!  Didn't get through all the levels yet, but it's very fun!
