Can you describe the kind of text button you’re referring to?
Regarding the health bar, I can think of a couple options that might work for you! Easiest might be to draw a rectangle behind the empty bar frame. Alternatively, you could fill the health bar with the repeating fill sprite, then just hide part of it with a black rectangle tied to missing health.
