Touch screen. The joystick thing makes it near impossible to fire with any tear variants that need to be charged, like with Brimstone, as said. The reason why I say a d-pad would be better is because the joystick is very sensitive and will only let you fire charged tears if you hold it still enough and with a d-pad it removes the guess work of the player to decide whether the games is going to shoot to the right or to the top, for example.
