I have an issue, anytime I play a match, it says a new challenger is approaching, however it does not show the character's silhouette. The screen goes pitch black and the announcer says 3 2 1, and then the game freezes. Does anyone know what's happening?

Amazing game, love it. Side note:

ME: May, how do I tell someone I love them? 

MAY: Ask to movies

ME: Wanna go to the movies with me 

MAY: Okay 

ME: Internal screaming ;-;

Note: I know other games do this but hollow knight was the first that came to mind.

I'd like a system like hollow knight, where you would unlock abilities like glide along the way. Also if the timer started once you started moving rather than when you start.
