It's not just you. I noticed only certain characters have the blue boxes as well.

Hey, so I bought this game on steam but I felt more felt more comfortable posting my review (if you could even call it that) on here. I hope that isn't too much of a bother.
I just want to get this out of the way first: Thank you for making this game. 3D games like this are hard to come by, and none are as polished as this one.
Now, I want to talk about the things I love about the game.
1. The growth. It's very, very well done. I know it's just you getting taller, it feels very natural, I guess? I'm not sure how to describe it, but it just feels very in place and satisfying.
2. The Destruction. I won't lie, I was a bit hesitant to go into this because with destruction (and especially when it comes to cities and it's done on purpose) it tends to get very gory. And, I'm not into that. So, I was glad to see this game didn't actually have that part of it. Anyway, like the point above, the destruction felt satisfying as well. I especially love that you grow from it too which isn't something I ever thought about. It's very unique!
3. The performance. The game is very smooth and I haven't seen much lag at all. Well, at least until you start reaching sizes past 1650 ft tall at least. But then again, that height is only reachable if you set the growth scale really high, so It's not too much of an issue right now at least.
4. Custom Characters. Do I even have to explain this one? Having the ability to import your own characters into the game is just so good. And there's even a guide to do it as well??? It's just, wow. Amazing.
And now, I'll talk about the stuff I didn't like.
1. The content. Like some other people have said, there isn't much to do apart from destroying cities and getting higher scores. And the fact that there's only two levels so far kind of makes this point much more noticeable. I feel like more levels might help as in the current version (1.5 as I'm writing this), there's not too much else too do really other than get some achievements. I don't mind the game play loop, don't get me wrong. I just mean that more levels would definitely be nice.
2. The guide. I'm sure it's probably just me but I wish the custom character guide had a video. I tried importing a model from blender (wasn't made by me) while following the guide but, after it started talking about reassigning bones if needed and applying the material I just got so lost and pretty much gave up. So, a video would be very much appreciated.
3. The growth. This is just a personal, subjective thing I'm gonna say (really, this "review" is subjective but this point in particular is especially subjective) but, I wish the models also grew other parts of their bodies as they grew bigger/thicker as well when they grew. Some muscle growth or leg thickening would be nice. I understand this was made for those who just liked macro so I can understand why they don't. And I do know you can make custom characters that have the effect and I would totally make a model and import them into the game but, as I said in the point above, I wasn't able to understand the guide that well. That's a problem with me, I know. But still
All in all. I'd give this game a 8/10. The fact that a game like this was made a single develop is astonishing. And in 2.5 years as well? That just crazy too me. Thanks again fort the wonderful game. I hope to see more come from it (if there is more coming ).
Anyone have any idea to level up quickly? I'm unsure if anything changes, but I cannot stop being one-shotted for life. I already have dodge but that doesn't really against the enemies with infinite range(the ones with staff) and the ones with high amounts of size(like the bigbarian). I'm trying to grow muscle if that helps.
Try The Curse of Something or Mercenary Quest if you like the growth aspect of the game (though the former has way more surrounding that than the latter and is still being actively updated). There's also Aftersoul.
I believe you're missing the purity ending. That is from putting all the names of pure characters into the eye of the void.
Spoilers for the names needed:
Drenth: You just have to accept the mark or whatever it's called when you meet him. Don't fill him with spawn.
Torgar: Do the purity path
Lukka: Just evolve your symbiote
Mirage seems antagonistic, but Nameless also seems pretty messed up with how he forces Rhot or Korg to fight you and gives you a vision of everyone dead. I'll be honest, I'm a simp for Daddy Tentacles so I'm siding with him anyway. I'm suuure It'll turn out okay.
Also considering Nameless can remember your choices across saves, he seems a lot stronger.
From what I can remember,
For Ferro, if you do his sex scene and submit to him each time, he'll gain a rank in a ability that makes him grow after you win any encounter.
And, for the imp, if you completely dominate him, you can grow him with essence when you check on him while he's your companion. If you fully submit to him, though he'll grow after you win or lose to him.
As for the other encounters, yeah, sadly that's the only way you can grow them.
Edit:
I forgot Ethrex, you can grow him if you lose against him when sparring with him while he's your partner.
Not to beat a dead horse but the description literally states it's a game about "large furry men". I'm not sure why you thought there would be female character you can have sex with/get in this.
Also, there's multiple straight furry games out there that you can find. I'm not sure why you're complaining about a game obviously made for gay men.
I'm not sure if you got it by now but The hint for it in game is really sneaky.
Basically you need to do everything on the ride to Munbury trip, protect him at least once, then have sex with him no more than 2 (TOO) times. I would've never gotten it myself without help from here lol. You also need to give him 5 'something' stones (I forgot what they were called) when asked. At least that's what I did.
