As others have mentioned, having to be all over the keyboard was pretty difficult. However, the idea is very unique, and "neighs numerically" in the intro sequence gave me a good chuckle, so it was pretty enjoyable overall :)

Glad you enjoyed it! The rushing down the mountain/too little attack power issue is kind of an annoying one for me: it's pretty obvious in retrospect but I totally failed to see it coming. BTW one of the reasons to fight (in addition to getting you more points) is that you can unlock stronger cards for your starting deck!

What a take on the theme! I absolutely did not expect to have my heartstrings tugged this jam. And congrats to baby Steele, only a few days old and she's already held the record for world's youngest person ;)

Very cool idea! Going in without reading any of the instructions, it was fun to figure out what the actual goal of the game was. Kudos to you that the game design makes it very easy to figure out :). I think with a bigger variety of level designs (maybe randomly generated each time?) it could be fleshed out into a very fun game

Very cute idea for the jam, and the art style really sells the overall concept! It would be nice if you could see a list of all of the rules, as the characters can sometimes get bunched up making it hard to find out who's new

Holy cow, what an idea! And the storybook intro sequence really blew me away. Impressive stuff!

Very cool idea, and I like the strategy of choosing which kind of platform to place where. And the wizards hat animations are very cute as well

Very cool puzzle concept, and I love the art style! It would be nice if there was some indication of how long the countdown was for each level, as it required a bit of trial and error at the start to figure that out each time

There's a lot going on here considering you didn't have much time to work on it! Honestly, my main takeaway is that I'm very bad at Watching the Pattern :)

Wow, what a cool idea! Took me a bit to wrap my mind around what was going on, but once I did, solving the puzzles was very satisfying

I really like the art style! I also had a similar double interpretation of the theme, so it is cool to see that we ended up with pretty different games :)

Nice application of a classic game idea. And I love to see someone else who took the jam theme super literally :)

Pretty fun game! I wouldn't have thought a hectic worker-placement game was possible, but it came together well. It would be nice if there was a way to drag multiple resources at once -- at some points the hardest part of the game was how quickly I could move the mouse :)

Glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun messing around with different synthesizer settings to make different sound effects, glad it paid off.

Glad you enjoyed it! All credit goes to the creator of 32rogues for the graphics. They made it very easy to have things look nice!

Congrats on getting past the end, I didn't think anybody was going to be able to do that! It's not just you -- there is definitely a game balance problem where if you don't focus on getting attack boosting cards early, you can get totally screwed later on. I'm glad you enjoyed it though :)

Really like the premise, and the double interpretation of the theme :)

Who knew efficiency mandates could be so much fun? And I loved the Queen County/Unsound Transit references ;)

Big fan of the art and sound design!

Nice take on a snake game! I really like the shift in the music that happens when you die.

Nice little game! I actually replayed it multiple times to try out different strategies, which I didn't expect from such a simple premise :)
