Interesting concept with the use of elements that affect enemies differently - Having some animations/sprite work when this happens would make it obvious on which enemy is affected and how long left (perhaps having sparks that lessen over time, ice/fire that gets smaller etc.)

The choice of weapons each wave is good and could have a range of weaponry. Having "unlocked" weapons saved in a JSON and loaded on game start could give the player the option to use old weapons (and perhaps have empty slots for yet to seen weapons so players have something to work towards).

Good work from a 2-man team!

Good start to the game slice with good sprite work.

It would be good to see mechanics such as the cart not moving if the player is not close to it, some explanation of the buffs, projectiles when attacking and health on the cart so that the dinosaurs can destroy it and cause the player to use.

Great playable implementation of a vertical slice for the game.

Monsters are varied and scary when they come from behind a wall!

It would be cool to see monsters roaming around with some AI and monsters with animations.

Timed treasure rooms keep it interesting as its a mad dash to collect all you can.

My monster baby was well fed with shoes.

Good playable slice of the game with multiple spells and a boss battle.

Good sprite work on King Slime - he is very scary! 1 boss attack that would be cool would be to spawn smaller slimes every now and then as part of the attack cycles.

Would be good to have the normal spell on F to be shown in-game as this is not in the UI at the moment.
