Ah, yes. The speech text hint is not clear enough. When you have them clear a bush, the wood goes into the fire. Then if they are at the fire when you resolve the turn it will light and they get happiness. Then there are relics, food and abilities etc that improve happiness.
This is good feedback.

At the map there are clues to the sites on the hex tile. In camp you can uncover them to get important upgrades. The early versions of the game were aimed at working out the mechanics by trial and error but im shifting toward clearer info. Still some gaps :)

Hi thanks. I will update the instructions and this feedback helps me plan the tutorial. 
Main thing that people seem to miss is that when in camp you pick up the people and move them to positions. Then they will resolve their action based on where they are.

hi there! thanks so much for playing. Im really seeking feedback on this type of thing so I can make it more understandable. When you are at a camp site you can pick up your people and place them in certain spots. When you resolve the turn they will clear away the trees covering the sites. Once there is no cover they will attempt to interact with the site. Not all spots have a site to interact with but out at the map you can see clues to the sites on that hex.
