The art style feels really cohesive, the BGM is great, and the se feel super natural too.
I really love the overall atmosphere! The slightly dizzying visual filter is actually really immersive, and the little ball-bouncing animations during gameplay feel super smooth and satisfying.
I had a lot of fun with it! I think I got a pretty middle-of-the-road ending — I managed to keep both the job and the workshop :D
The whole game feels really polished and cohesive — from the UI to the backgrounds and character art, everything feels complete and thoughtfully put together.
It’s honestly really impressive! The journal system is also super helpful for keeping track of things.
I’ve only gotten one ending so far, but I still had a lot of fun with it!
Thank you!! But actually I mainly worked as the programmer on this game haha:>
You can check out my team members' accounts if you're interested!
Here!: https://eyyr.itch.io/ Tho im super happy u show such kindness ♡ ♥︎
The collage-style art combined with the font gives the game this really beautiful old-book feeling.
It looks super ornate and unique!
I did run into a small issue though — when I reached page 9, clicking “Continue” only took me to the ending screen telling me to “Try Again,” and clicking that just sent me back to page 9, so I got stuck in a loop.
Tho its really cool game and maybe its my first tim seeing such kine of game !!!
Really love the pixel art, it gives me such a classic game vibe!
The puzzles are challenging in a really satisfying way, and solving them feels sooo rewarding. That Morse code puzzle absolutely got me 😭
I do think a few more hints or clearer clues would help a lot, especially for some of the trickier puzzles!
This style is so damn cool!!! How did you even think of making the introduction on the page into this dynamic diamond-shaped screen? Nailed it!!!
The visuals really look like a broken TV screen, and have such a strong Russian vibe. The voice lines rushing you while you're tasting the food were really creepy tho 😭(LOVE IT!!!
Awwww, your words really give us more motivation to keep working on it haha :3
We're currently making some changes, and we're hoping to upload a new version right around the end of the Game Jam!!
Again, your comment really made us feel that making games that explore topics like this is meaningful. It means a lot to us ❤
Can't believe you made this solo in just one week!!!
The game feels so complete and polished. The mechanic where u can only jump in the air is such a fun idea, and I loved exploring different areas and discovering all the little dialogue boxes scattered around. let's just say some of the paths caught me completely off guard. You really anticipated so many weird things players might try haha.><
The sound effects are great too — they really add to the charm! Loved it overall. Looking forward to seeing where you take it( if you decide to keep developing it! :3
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking time to play our game <3
Unfortunately we don’t have a Linux build available at the moment — sry about that!
It really means a lot to us knowing that the game resonated with you. That’s exactly the kind of connection we hoped to create, so hearing this truly makes our day<3
Thank you for the feedback on the repetitiveness as well — we’ll be working on improving that along with other fixes once the jam period is over. really appreciate your honest and thoughtful review ❤️
