If the problem only appeared just after changing an image, maybe make sure the filename has remained the same. Double check the files' structure just in case.

Also, the zip should not be a folder with all the game content in itself. Just zip all the files and folders directly without a folder having all of them.

Edit: Make sure you're also using the latest 1.2 version of the game. I worked on 1.0 version and solved my black screen problem updating to 1.2 version.

Apparently, it was the zipping program, for some reason, it omitted some files when creating the zip . I updated the files since I worked with the 1.0 version and now it is working! :)

Hello,

I am trying to upload my entry for testing before making it public. The first time I saved the project, it displayed a black screen when loading the new game page. Then, looking through the community posts I realized I forgot to add a quote, I properly added it and then uploaded the zip file again (with the game files directly, not inside a whole folder). Now it shows a pop-up saying "Could not load translation files." with the title "html-classic.itch.zone".

Any idea what could happened?

Nevermind, found it by expanding the newly created file type from the list.
