"Right Down Left Up"

No, this probably is a hidden order that unlock a secret door.

Seems to be "Right Left Up Down".

Anyone understands what the inscription means?

"This spire governs the sun. Begin where dawn first touches stone, And follow the sun's path, until the day yields to dusk."

I thought the sun rises from east and drops to west, and I tried to defeat the enemies counter-clockwised from the one on the right. Actually I tried the counter-clockwised defeating orders from each enemy (statue), but nothing happens. I also tried to defeat the enemies in clockwise order starting from the left one, still nothing happened.
