I realllyyy raellly enjoyed the theme of stopping time to progress. All the levels were really really fun and amazing. I will say some of the levels might need to be reordered for thier difficulty. For example one of the early ones that have you spawn a bunch of blocks from the ceiling and stopping time to climb up them. I find that a big knowledge jump early on. Still fun when i figured out the solution. For level 27, I’m not sure if I found the unintended solution. For spoilers reasons I won’t say exactly what I did, but I will say. Idk if the heart block was intended to be part of the solution? I know in all your levels you didn’t include any red herrings so I can only assume that was part of the solution. But I didn’t do that to win, I did something similar to what you have to do for Level 30’s final part. Speaking of Level 30, I found it lowkey easy? I would definitely say there are levels before it that in my opinion are harder. In that you can mess up more times compared to level 30.

Again really really cool mechanic and levels. I wish you did more heart block pushing levels. Also I though for level 30 I had to stack the blocks some how on top of each other then climb up like in pico park, but i guess not. Could be a cool solution for later levels if you were to make more :>.

Really enjoyed the levels. The solutions were quite cleaver especially if you wanted all the candies for level two. Level three felt a lot like playing “Big dog small dog” by increpare. By the way highly recommend checking out the “puzzlescript” game engine by increpare. Really cool little game engine.

My only criticism is:

Level Three's Solution *Spoiler* I found the cobweb above the flag was kind of an unnecessary red herring. Okay did another run through of level three and I think I found the intended solution? I originally found the cobweb to be a red herring because I didn't realize I can move the two pumpkins together to make a bridge. Then afterwards I can push down through the cobweb and win. The unintended solution I found, I thought was the cleaver solution. Was lining the bottom stream with pumpkins, then walk under the flag. When I would try and move up stream, my body would collide with the flag winning me the game.

Do you plan on expanding this game? I would love to see you expand on the water stream idea. What if the water can move left to right additionally both up and down.

Question:

Is there a reason why you decided to map jump, dash and wall climb to j k l respectively? I might be speaking for myself but I think jump bound to space and dash bound to L-Shift would make sense. Since that's kind of how it is in general for games. As for wall climbing I wouldn't mind that being apart of Lmouse-click.

Suggestion:

I would love to see you have the players do more movement techs. For example when I had dash while falling to make it to the end. I found that really fun and interesting.

Not sure how hard it would be to implement. Make it so when players are wall climbing upwards and they hit the corner of an edge. Have it so they just climb over it if they press the jump key ("J" in this case), would feel a lot better then just mashing the jump key. Praying you don't just fling yourself off.

Bugs:

Whenever I would jump -> dash -> wall grab, it sometimes wouldn't let me go up when i pressed "w". It would let me go down, and only after I pressed "s" to go down then I could move up again.

Comment:

I don't know if its itch screen scaling or on unity end. When I'm playing sometimes I spawn "off screen" and on level two I think it is. I thought I could just fly off screen into the next level, except I'm just met with a wall.

Besides that great game :D

holy shrimp cool game bro

Cool game and concept, bean :0. Also love the fact dragons just crush the limited tiles u can use.

Awesome game :0, keep up the work

I love the avatar you play as, I do wish there was more meteors.

I really loved the super simple gameplay. And the lil Witches are adorable :3.

I loved the music, that would accompany you as you travel this massive world as such a tiny character. Meeting a wide range of people from those who hunt and are scared of the cold. To those who just knit all day.

I really enjoyed the art style in this game and the puzzles. Although I do wish there was more interactions between the cats or use more cats to progress the story and not just mainly the black cat. Even though that was their personality to be easily distracted.

Loved the use of different music according to the situation, additionally the small mini games throughout the journey.
