Bro I didnt shame you for anything. The game you made has good parts and parts that i find straight up unsettling and disturbing. Take the criticism or dismiss it, I dont care. But dont act like I or anyone else asked for this. Those were your creative decisions man, please learn to take the feedback.
Okay so, no offense, I started out as a huge fan, loved the branching story paths and the developing narrative, but over the endgame I have become pretty disappointed and also very grossed out with this game. As you get further down the paths, not only do all of them become very samey, but holy shit do they become weird?? Like wtf, half of the shit happening is just straight up disgusting.
On "weird" - yeah so wtf is the endgame content? Some of it is just so over the top, its just straight up stomach turning. Where is the sex dude? Im here to watch people have sex. Thats hardly even happening anymore lmao. Instead most of it is just a weird show of extreme bodily interaction. It's not arousing, it's unsettling. Like, for some of it I came in horny and I left just straight up disturbed.
But apart from comparably few scenes that are weird because of the actual physical acts taking place, most of the endgame scenes are just hard to enjoy on an emotional level. It seems like no matter which path you pick in the endgame, it always ends with Jenna stripped of all agency and forced into weird, cruel or just straight up ghoulish scenarios against her will. There's always a different plot justification for why she supposedly "likes" it now, but it's always some form of addiction / dependency which means the actual character Jenna is entirely absent from the later stages of the game.
I miss the actual impactful encounters that were more present in the early game. You know, the ones where Jenna actually enjoyed the things that she did and that happened to her. Or was grossed out by shit she didnt like. Where the character Jenna acted and chose based on her traits and emotions and had some actual values that weighed into her decisions instead of "oh i lov sex and cume". Not only is this just boring writing, it also makes it increasingly harder to enjoy anything that is happening on screen. The character I became accustomed to is suddenly acting like a complete idiot most of the time and worst of all, no matter what I do, she keeps getting into scenarios where she's treated like absolute shit. I find that extremely hard to enjoy as a) I feel like I no longer have any control over where the game is going / what my char is doing and b) because holy shit I dont wanna jack off to someone getting raped for the 15th time, but literally have no choice in this...
So yeah... not huge fan of the endgame content and the overall direction it takes after the midgame break. Wish there was some actual loving or at least interesting (consentual) sex. Instead most of it is poorly-justified rape. Ew.
(positive note: the art-style is the bomb and as I said, many of the earlier scenarios are very well written. I think you have a very good thing here, I just dont understand where youre taking it. Like, I guess theres a market for weird shit, but maybe restrict that to one of the possible paths? Just an idea. Because the rest is genuinely good.)
