It's a short game about something that scared them as a kid.
Was it short? Yep.
Was it, arguably, scary for a kid? Yes.
Does it examine and express the helplessness a child would feel in this situation (can't move, can't make the door work, bad guy attacking, etc)? Yes.
So... it does everything it set out to do.
