Like the title says, I've poked around the community posts and haven't found conclusive answers to these. For context I've found all nine characters, got them all to maximum Love, Heat, and Perv, maxed out every pose (some characters multiple times), and toggled on-and-off everything I can find individually to try and answer these myself.
1. What does Heat actually do? Nav says it "increases a girl's Fertility and sex speed". I can't attest to the latter, but the former seems incorrect. I've tested every character going from 0 to 100 Heat, their Fertility level does not change. Nav also warns against letting Heat get too high, and as there's a character that gains Heat extremely quickly, it makes sense from a gameplay perspective for that to do something. So what does it do? There's no explosions, no jumpscares at the day's end, nothing weird on the map screen, it doesn't appear to actually do... anything? Surely I'm missing something.
2. What the hell does the Fuck Permit do? It says it "Allows girls to fuck each other when heated!" which doesn't appear to be the case. Someone posted saying you need Futas: my entire crew is Futa (I also tried with 4 Futa and 5 Female, still nothing). Another person said the Permit Tweaker needed to be off - I've toggled that damn thing on, off around, and upside-down in every combination I can figure out like I'm trying to crack a safe. No dice.
3. What's the actual formula for Pregnancy? I've seen folks say it has to do with Fertility, but that's just for the amount of homunculi "helpers" you want to create. I had Cami at 770% Fertility for two weeks, plowed that bun twice a day, still took 15 attempts to get her pregnant. Oriana was at 3550% for over thirty attempts. Lia was at 550% for twenty. Clearly it has something to do with the character themselves, but their stats (at least, all the mouse-over stats) are identical. What gives?
4. What does the "Capture Cap" do? When you mark a creature with LMB, text flashes saying "NO KILL!". Your party will then bring it to (I assume) 1 health, where you can then Capture it (RMB on character in bottom right, LMB on creature to Capture). This is WITHOUT the Capture Cap equipped. WITH it equipped, nothing changes. Unmarked creatures are killed, and marked creatures are not. Same as before. Explain.
5. The fuck does the "Magic Bubble" do?
Hope I'm not just blind to some setting somewhere that fixes this all, and if I am then I can't be the only one. Hope this post helps somebody in the future, even if it's just feeling "seen". Some tips I've seen randomly strewn about are below, in case you need 'em.
- The Steam Achievements don't always update when you get an achievement in-game. Try restarting the game, that fixed it for me.
- Love Stones are what causes lag, not the Cum / Impregnation graphic. Unless you're farming Love Stones, play the minigame until you max-out the pose, then hold Spacebar to skip to the end. Hold Spacebar during climax to speed up the Love Stone gain. Hold LMB during Impregnation to speed up the sperm graphic.
- If you still can't find someone, ask Nav. When that's entirely unhelpful, search "Dinosaur" in the community search bar. Pretty sure it'll just be this post and the one by gtswatch about where everyone is.
