Hey nito, I'm definitely in need of an overall sound artist to join our small team for this project. With a planned healthy variety of male love interests I'd also love some VA participation.

I've got more info on my initial reach out post here:

Hi , I'm looking for at least one more Character Artist for my Detective Otome game and I really like your art style.

More details here:

Incase anyone checks the posts here but not the Otome Jam board:

Hey Everyone, I’m a multimedia artist with experience primarily in architectural design, marketing, film, writing, and 2D & 3D graphic design. I’ve been an avid gamer all my life, but I’m just getting started on my coding & game dev journey.

This Josei/Otome Jam will be my first true game jams. I enjoy nearly all game genres but love RPGs & strategy games the most. I’ve played some VNs and am playing through a few at the moment.

The concept I’m developing is an RPG-lite Detective narrative. Something halfway between Disco Elysium & Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I want to get this project as far along as I can for the jam but can already feel that I will want to push it further after the jam.

For now, I’d love to have several members on the team like VAs and a composer, but am most interested in bringing on a character artist. Primarily base poses because I would enjoy taking some time to add additional face animations.

Feel free to reach out here or on discord, 13thVoidRoseStudios.

A few examples of my architectural art on the original post:

Sounds good. I did just reach out via discord.

I didn't see a message, I'll add you, should make it easier. Admittedly, Discord is the first new-tech that makes me feel old. The interface is not the most intuitive.

Hey Sofia, this is going to be the first game jam I've joined with more than just 2-3 days left to submit...and only my 2nd ever. If the game produced/scope of work is very small relative to a game that would get a "standard" release, and more or less meant as a portfolio filler, do VAs expect monetary compensation? Let me know your general thoughts. I set up a discord account a while back but almost never used it, should get that back up and running.

Idk, my game page link is working for me.

Link is not working, giving me  a "404"

Ok, great...I was out of the house nearly all day and just now seeing your reply.

The game page is:

Let me know if there's anything else I can do...

I'm going to keep working on this project for myself, but won't make any updates to the official jam submission.

It's certainly not in a finished state but I didn't realize I'd need to compile the game files into a web app ready .zip and ended up missing your submission deadline by about a minute after I figured out how to properly upload. Any chance you can let me slide this in now??

Thanks.
