I love your art style. I'm using it right now while working on my platformer + tower defense game, but I'd love to work together as the game gets closer to a commercial release.

This is the page that gives some info on what the game is all about. https://0xrobert.itch.io/they-come-at-night

And here is a bonus video of the work-in-progress tower defense mechanics. Wouldn't have been near as cool without your art.  If you're not interested or already involved in another project, no worries. Thanks for making awesome free art.

Finally got towers working in the engine, so I made a fun video to celebrate!

Welcome to the beginning of the development journey for my platformer + tower defense game: They Come At Night

I plan on posting both development blogs and videos as the game progresses. I posted the first video which introduces the project and shows some footage of where the engine + gameplay is at right now.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again!

Hi, thank you so much for playing my game!

Don't worry, you are not stupid at all! The game does in fact end abruptly after the brief encounter with the "thing". I apologize for the game being so short but I'm really happy you enjoyed it. My next game will be much longer and it is possible that I will extend this game in the future to be longer and have multiple endings.

Thanks again for playing and leaving a comment! :D

Hi there, thank you so much for trying out my game! What do you mean by “the cute scene”?

The gameplay consists of reading some text on the screen and then clicking on choices to advance the story.

If you get a chance would you mind showing a screenshot of the problem you encountered?
