Np!!! 72 hours is definitely rough and you had a great idea with your game :) - I'm sure your polished game will be great ^^

I think the third stage definitely stumped me on my first attempt - on the second stage I believe it's supposed to teach you that you don't want any of your gang descriptors to be different (?), but I didn't really get that message and I got past stage 2 just by simply guessing the correct combination (since it was only two masks), leading to me getting stuck on stage 3. I understood it the second time I tried it but the hint felt rather vague and was quite easy to misunderstand or skip past.

The fourth stage was also rather confusing and the hint was really vague. I also think simply changing the color to green isn't enough of a visual indicator that the mask was clickable unless you happened to hover your mouse over the guy. In the end, I got the solution by trial and error and didn't really understand why the solution was correct. Afterwards, the rest of the game just turned into trial and error since I didn't feel like I properly understood the fundamental concept behind what needed to be masked.

Thank you!!! Yeah unfortunately ratios and what not are a bit messed up. I haven’t experienced lag myself, but I will also say the code is quite spaghetti haha

oh wth 😭😭 ripp, will have to fix that later - you’re also insane for getting that far with the ui cut off like that

yeahh, full screen is a bit janky, you’ll have to zoom out a few times to see it all - the aspect ratios broken rn :((

I agree with the comment below regarding tutorials since I did get rather confused at some stages, but this is definitely an interesting concept! Great job doing what you did in 72 hours, especially as a solo dev :)

Oh, thank you so much for the detailed feedback and for playing the game! The UI is not supposed to disappear - that was a bug we unfortunately didn’t have time to fix. Completely valid point about the last level, though! Perhaps adding a white outline around the character would help.

We’ll most likely be fixing everything and properly polishing the game once grading’s done :D

Once you get to the key it throws an error and then once you press ok it should teleport you to the credits ^^ - if you didn’t clip the platform underneath the key then I believe it’ll kill you before you can press ok

Very interesting interpretation of the mask theme! Loved the art and writing style and I had fun going through the game. Well done!!!!

Wow!! I really love the art and writing style here. The music's also a great fit too - not too overbearing and sets the atmosphere.

The premise is quite interesting for those who like to work their deductive reasoning muscles - a whodunnit where you have to keep track of who goes where. Definitely took a few tries to get all the information I needed. Well done :D

it's so interesting how we had a similar concept (clipping masks + puzzle platformer) but vastly different executions!  The player does seem to struggle a little on slopes, but the puzzles are super satisfying! And the art is very cute :)   very nice game

For those wondering, this is a puzzle platformer game! :]

Also, you have to play in full screen mode, otherwise the UI breaks.

Simple gameplay, but effective! I love the atmosphere that the game gives off. (that guy in the window.... 👀
