If was thinking about having different themes for the secrets in every level but I kinda lack composers who are willing to do it.

I would love to have this on my phone as an actual app, especially if you release your tools to the public some day. It could become like a platform for virtual LCD handheld games and that sounds pretty cool.

I had an idea for such a game but I'll have to wait until I can see how you've made yours.

You've done a great job!

I think it was through the debug console. I don't remember what was in this build, the new Noise moveset has been long remove and replaced with a custom pogo Noises moveset

So Blocky!

As a person who has worked on a horror game with GBStudio, those jumpscares and the trailer recreation are mind-blowing. Please tell me how you managed to do it without so much garbled graphics.

0.2 is the newest public release but I've released some playtester builds you can find on the gamebanana page or here

I kinda forgot about it but I may update it when I have more free time

Nothing that complicated. Your 360 view of the map is a top-down 2D scene that can wrap around itself and when you go forward the scene changes.

The gun is just a big sprite that plays a sfx and the animation when you press a button.

And finally, the hud is a part of the background set on a parallax layer that doesn't move, if you want to make a working one you'll probably have to draw some text on that layer that keeps track of the player's health, ammo and other stuff while Doomguy's head would be a sprite.

Yes

I haven't, everything's just been very slow. You can join the discord and find out for yourself

So, it didn't fix my issue and now I'm even more confused.

I tried to open the project included with the plugin and it said it's for GBStudio 4.2.0 (from what I know the newest version is 4.1.3). I opened the project anyways and it mostly worked correctly.

When I put the plugin in my game it crashed and displayed a white screen like before.

Also, change from GBT player to hUGETracker doesn't help

Sorry for the problem, it will get fixed in the next update. The only way to fix this is to remove all data that the game has made and then restart your computer.

So, I can build the project but then no graphics were displaying and it gave me this crash after a few seconds. And no, there are no other plugins

Using the plug-in on 4.1 would cause the scene to display only a white screen and then this error:

This plug-in is incredible! Can you update it to 4.1?

GeForce 920M. It's not supported and the drivers can't be upgraded

(1 edit)

If I can't repair my DSi I hope I can at least repair this a digital console

Edit: Turns out I can't do that either because Unreal Engine doesn't support my graphics card.

And I thought it couldn't get better than the sequel...

I think it's pretty clear it's still in beta

Yeah, anchovies have the same problem and idk how to fix it. It will be fixed some day

Yes

Terrible name, incredible remake. I hope you make more

no, that was put there by another person

butter dog

the dog with the butter

There's a little thing called teaser.mp4 in the files that explains everything

good question

0.2

This game is surprisingly effective.

Also, can I apply as a translator?

no

thanks you

What did you use to make this game?

It's not finished

That's a very early version. In the full game there would be more than just Snick's challenge

That's not the newest build tho

Maybe wait until the game is finished

Technically this is impressive but the hit detection is quite poor

I'm not working on my mod alone. In fact, I haven't done most of the code, and the coders I've hired don't want to use UTMT, I don't know why but they hate it

It just needs someone to port the existing stuff to GM2

Maybe when I finish it
