"bulk sell bonus" but after reading description, I discovered it means the opposite.

I never started the game, just glanced the screenshots and thought "party house"

speaking of which, I tried reproducing old strat that uses gloom shroom in front column (that works by making use of the fact that ducky tube zombies don't start biting wide pumpkin until they walk into pool. then I'd do all that stuff like stalling final zombie on first wave (sigh, if that cheese were useful in this game, being able to keep low dps ranged zombie in 2nd column indefinitely (unlike with basketball catapult zombie which drives forward after a while) would make it even more convenient) to build up sun for winter melon support, then take my time adding pumpkins to other less critical stuff, replace sunflowers with marigold, etc.) which doesn't suit this game in all sorts of ways

I remember back when I played PvZ, I'd go into last stand to design a formation, then go into [survival: pool] to grind for coins. weirdly that's become part of the experience I've associated with it

I guess I could place it in the second column where ranged zombies stay while others walk past my dark garlic drone to stop tanking for it for more than an instant. kinda like spikeweed I guess

garlic is kinda useless?

btw, I first heard about barometz from dungeon meshi

doesn't feel like torchwood can reliably ignite every pea. anyone know what causes this to happen?

in the end I tried placing them further up front just to be safe. sigh, threepeaters are just too good at bypassing torchwood

feels kinda silly that you can just assassinate the target zombie thru a wall of graves/tombstones

also, I keep trying to get whacky with torchwood due to vague memories. iirc, placing torchwood besides threepeater was smth from regular PvZ, and as for trying to ignite peas leaving lane, see:

and

so I'm guessing it got fixed

I had so much fun testing underpowered strats on purpose. I have an idea about garlic. (can do the same for bottom. but it's just a test for fun) dark garlic drones in top lane, with garlic at upper right. now, even with zombies walking down the adjacent lane, side effect cloves won't be shot. for the brief instant that zombies show up in the edgemost lane, trios of cloves can be shot, but half will be wasted from being sent even further above. I genuinely like this. not off screen but miss besides entire lawn. just sailing past all zombies (since I'm only interested in messing around for now, I edited file and skipped a lot of content, so for all I know, there might be stuff to hit)

nvm, just make sure to place garlic drone first, then rotobaga will go below it. almanac description is completely correct, but if garlic drone was introduced later, I'd move the exception from one plant to another. "can be planted on any surface" purple text is fine since terrain stuff go there so I should leave other stuff out of it, but garlic drone's normal dark blue desc "can be planted on other plants" would get extended with "except for rotobaga"

I guess that'd make you rich

I guess an icicle melting would lose its ability to pierce

"The level after unlocking Screamelon was completely reworked, and also the night level with multiple scaredy shrooms."

edit: nvm, Costumes - Official PvZ Neighborhood Defense Wiki it's unlocked from vasebreaker

huh, there's still a costume I can't find

rotobaga can be placed between garlic drone and lily pad, I think. noticed on that conveyor level as soon as it was introduced

you mean the ruby? I don't know how much it's worth

wdym? if you're asking for a save file, you already know where the original is stored so you can replace with new. someone can give you one to put there but why not just edit? (after I saw the developer comment that said "if you're in PC you can modify the save file to unlock everything" I thought the rest was pretty simple)

coins is dinero? also lemme try smth that's not an integer... 90000.500000

nvm, this sandbox mode doesn't seem particularly good for getting big energy

been away for a while, and today I randomly check back to see that sandbox gets added. these few days I got way too immersed in chess ultimate. probs gonna take a while to get this back on my mind again (I spent so long trying to do a few simple tests, and now that it's finally been made easy, I feel kinda weird for not immediately rushing back to do it  after all that complaining I did)

seems I failed to put two screenshots in one post. I'll just post the other one before testing a bit

ugh, I wasted way too much time trying to get the rng just right. dev plz release sandbox mode... I'm too lazy to learn how to set up a save state machine for unity games (idk how to do it in general)

nah it's just doubling. did a quick test and it worked first try

huh, so this guy's name is darbin. ik there are only three character sprites getting recolored so top hat might actually be a bigger reskin

iirc while messing with -121, I incidentally saw it going thru stuff. so 11*19(>200 ik) might just project explosions further

when I felt that 77 doesn't synergize all that well with 49, I tried getting another 7 in hopes of making a deck of 49s and many 11s. but I'm pretty sure this ~dialogue is wrong (suspected it long ago but remember loads of minor stuff I didn't bother pointing out). oh well, I'll just make deck of three 77s, and maybe test out 7^3=343 to plan ahead in case more mining battles get added. I was listing loads of mini tests in gsheets and just thought to have 13 remaining to use up, or use 43 effect before playing x. oh and, 73 7...

anyway, I continued those tests and probably posted about it elsewhere. I'll test creating a bunch of duds(I'll call them chris' rocks which has nothing to do with the guy who got slapped at an oscars~ held long ago, but is rather a konosuba reference about using pebbles to protect valuable item from being stolen. semi joke about it being interpretable like kuzco's poison) to get stolen, adding bloat to her deck. just do 2^n since 3 does discards which could help her cycle thru the chaff faster. anyway, I've long been playing around with the idea of "can't possibly spend so much energy every turn / there'll always be plenty left over for me to siphon ~away"

seems like one 89 was all I needed to steal everything

I'm starting to understand how 89 works now. opponent can't draw cards if their entire deck gets stolen. huh, pretty sure I played 11 as soon as I got it

I'm trying to figure out how to counter 61 since final boss starts bringing them in his deck when you have challenge mode enabled

these cloned ninja stars are pissing me off... it's irritating and gets everywhere.

cloak of the planewalker is good at slip/infiltrating thru cracks. well maybe that's not its selling point... don't need stealth to reach RotMG vault secret oryx statue... trickster(like rogue but taunt instead of sneak) with t0 decoy will do just fine

if it simply took theirs and doubled it, then can probs use siphon pong to get whatever high number you want, drop with X(I call it that because in candy box 2, u can't come out of X potion with surplus hp remaining afaik. and if u play 17 then X, it becomes 83 which makes X shape around itself), and pick up with tweezers to make it permanent (for that round, which could last forever). I'm pretty sure I mentioned tournament opponent using 11*17 before but I've always thought that even if it didn't place down corners (this is so weird. just imagine how useful 11*23 could be, creating framework...uhh, I don't wanna say scaffolding since I'm about to mention Lunar Base – Minecraft Wiki and scaffolding means smths specific in Minecraft. whtv. just imagine 19*23 where the * is like applying that bomberman powerupgrade), that's fine since I just wanna make full use of four surround. I mean, 83 already infiltrates like xiangqi knight. now I'm thinking of some other way to satisfy this ocd, like if rules changed so that you can always play over your own non-frozen tiles. that way, can insert a 17, then use 19*11 to clear surrounding enemies while filling the space created with your own, much like 41. oh and btw, 83 and tweezers can open up some rare options that are never gonna be used. 77's spawns can overwrite fires, so I thought, why not destroy your own fragiles to "upgrade" them with immune modifier. then pick up center (tweezers can be used on any tile you own, even if it's immune. to test, go back to first lv, remove your own spawn, and you're trapped without 97. like bongcloud opening challenge) to place 83 there, making a defensive 3x3 bunker formation (the clones of 77 are like tortoise shell that protects 83 from opponent seeking to insert 19 into its armpit). ofc, such a rare situation would never happen, so 99% of games you'll just grab a 17(83 doesn't spawn copies of itself) from 83 to keep for the rest of the game. tweezers cost nothing to use so it could serve as an opening play for rematch71map right side (83+0+17=100 perfectly spends all your energy. element X gang   jk). but for left side, you can just not bring tweezers which are too fancy and go with the classic 17 83 to help right side enter the fianchetto thing... but speaking of using 17 83 to escape lower right corner spawn, that might actually be useful for/on a tournament map I remember... at a quick glance, just see 61 71 97 map

I'm using casual mode to learn about game mechanics. anyway, if my card gets stolen into their deck, do I not get it back until they play or discard it? once I get primes from above the 5th floor, I should be able to test it easily while tracking where each/every~thing goes

I call it the seven eleven. some other names like two by four won't work in this game tho

I'm just waiting to see what 13^2 does. would be cool if it gave all your remaining energy to opponent that doesn't have space to play 13, so you can siphon it again next turn. jk I'm going crazy trying to do negative turn test

(1 edit)

the first time I fought boss, didn't even know how mechanics worked. was just trying to rush as thru unlocks as I can before stopping to experiment, since there's no sandbox mode afaik so gotta get as powerful as possible to make it easier to do tests

everything feels easier the second time around

I felt tempted to go to florr.io forums to make a troll post "slimestone". nolifers form megasquads and spend hours grinding in ultra zone in hopes of obtaining a super petal (slight, scorn, swing, etc.) someday, so I can imagine them starting to find some shade of green pleasing to the eye
