I really love the visuals, the blob explosions are satisfying and the parallax scrolling looks great! Movements are responsive and the game provides a decent amount of challenge. I'd definitely play more of this! Although I do have to question if this meets the 'single control' prompt as it uses two keys.
One bug I ran into is that if you double tap the down key you will move down into the area below all the obstacles, and thus avoid everything.
Overall really good submission that I enjoyed!
