I bought the game and download the windows version. I played the game for awhile and it was working good but that was because I had to turn off something's in settings but I went to settings to try and turn on some things to see what works and what doesn't. I decided to hit reset and when I did the game crash. I opened the game again and it kept crashing. I tried everything I deleted the game and re extract the game, didn't work. I deleted the game and the zip folder and redownload it from itch.io page and it still didn't work. So either I get my money back or someone tell what can I do to make the game stop crashing 

There's an unfortunate issue I haven't quite figured out what's going on just yet. 

But it seems to be DX12 releated, and also enabling full screen mode. I cannot reliably reproduce the issue though I have experienced it at least once. It could also be related to playing older versions of the game .

You can delete the settings in app data:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\LocalLow\Momoirosoft\Our Apartment

But that may not work. If it does avoid changing full screen modes.

For now one solution is forcing DX11 or Vulkan, because of this from now on I'll be including shortcuts to force these modes for people with issues. 

But here's how to enable DX11 mode yourself.

Right click the EXE and select "Create Shortcut".

Then in that shortcut's target add:

-force-d3d11

Then select the EXE, the game should load. You can also try " -force-vulkan".

I'm not 100% sure but HDR may not work in the other modes.
