Will firearms be used as weapons for characters in future stories? Having a large number of military relics without firearms seems illogical. However, firearms will greatly change the combat style. I don't want to affect your thinking on the story setting, but I would like to hear your opinion

hey, firearms are most likely not found anymore. It has been over 400 years since the last firearms were manufactured, and you can imagine everyone wanting to get their hands on some over the course of the centuries. Especially now, 200 years after Zeta was founded and after it went religiously after anything that resembles technology, the chance of finding an in tact firearm is zero to none. There can be other pre war techs found however, even if the chance is slim.
We don't know what kind of technology the royal armory has stored, as it previously stored high tech armor that Ivy stole from it.
And no, the mutant bunker was depleted of all firearms before fangs found it. That could have multiple reasons.
