The steam version has more features and will eventually get multiplayer, the most requested feature.
Who says itch.io will not have those features? It's not hard to create a room code based multiplayer lobby with scoreboards.
It is to someone in a poorer country. It’s not much to Americans or something, but in other places it could be worth a full days work or even longer
