Appreciate for sharing the recordings of your game. They were helpful given the initial loading issue (My guess that it might stem from the scene not being included in the build settings). Overall, not a bad game. Here are some suggestions for improvement:
Positives:
- Game Aesthetic: The background is impressive, and the blend of 2D and 3D elements gives your platformer a unique hybrid feel that stands out.
Areas for Improvement:
- Button Design: The buttons on the menu appear condensed and somewhat out of place. I recommend placing the buttons on a distinct panel background to enhance visibility and separation. Additionally, increasing the spacing between each button could help to declutter the interface and improve overall usability.
- Menu Design:
- Visual Appeal: Currently, the main menu seems quite basic, featuring only a single button without a background or game title. Doesn't look appealing nor gives us an expectation of the game itself (Could be a artistic choice though).
- Functionality: Including essential menu options such as Sound settings, Load, and Exit could make the user experience better. These changes could provide the necessary functionality and in turn makes it more engaging and informative.
Again, not a bad game. Just a bit of retouching here and there could really improve its appeal.
