confusing? I don't think it's confusing at all, its pretty clear that we haven't seen all of the story yet but there's enough information given to come to your own conclusions about what might happen. The plot is flowing so perfectly, I don't want an info dump, I like the suspense of not knowing why Adam's doing what he's doing but it's also heavily hinted at that there was some sort of family drama between him, the MC's aunt and his mother, before he even met the MC or knew who they are. Ch 3 isn't even out yet so idk why anyone would say that it's confusing. I think the pacing and storytelling is very good. It's definitely not hard to follow at all.

yeah, I've reread this an embarrassing amount of times and... I don't follow what would be confusing. there's a lot of foreshadowing, biased perspective, and implications involved because it's the very beginning of the story. I think this genre's plots tend to be more... simple? So maybe people are waiting for what's going to happen to be spelled out? But it's just not that kind of game... it has a real plot lol

it's called build-up?

I completely agree, if ppl honestly think this is confusing they either lack reading comprehension or they're just impatient and want to hear all the details. That's so lame, we haven't even seen ch 3 yet there's nothing to be confused by....
