awesome concept, questionable execution. the retro science videos set up a surreal vibe that I really dig. the progression of abilities is very interesting. while the lack of explanations encourages experimentation, I think some things could be better explained (or better implemented) — especially the whole shift key.

unfortunately, the mechanics are really janky, and the level design quickly devolves into a mess of randomly placed shapes and unreasonable death-traps. I quit at level 5 after getting unfairly squished too many times — it’s way too sensitive, and the reset is too punishing. also, there’s something weird with the mouse/camera sensitivity, it just seems inconsistent.

problems aside, the mood is great and I absolutely love the idea!
