America is simultaneously the best and worst thing that ever happened to the rest of the world. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Japan in college, and coming back felt like leaving a nation of adults for a nation of children: even in the airport the obesity, terrible, low quality food and complete lack of responsibility reflected everywhere hits you like a wave. But even so, we're not all terrible. It's like a lot of countries: cool people, bad leadership.
