cant wait to progress further in the story!!, also i have a question, whenever there is a new update do i have to just open the game that i have installed or download the new update version and delete the previous one..? will i lose the old progress and start from the beginning?

From what I know about Ren'Py games save files, it probably works as follows:
Saves files are usually stored on a different folder in your operational system. You can just play whatever version the game has and it will load saved files stored in folders that has the same name of the game you're playing.
🤔 That said, I didn't test it yet, but if I'm right, you probably can put a game save from another game in the save folder, and it'll probably appear (and of course won't work xD)
About WelCUM To The City, actually, some save files may become corrupt for some months, but on version 0.14 I created a checkpoint system so you can just skip days and don't have problems.
