Hi there! Sorry to hear you're having trouble--are you running Windows 8 or Windows 8.1? If so, then I'm afraid that it's a known issue that some devices won't open the game and I've not been able to solve it thus far. (Did running the .bat file with the Windows 8 version not help?)
If you're running Windows 7 or 10, then I've not heard of anyone having problems before now... Have you tried running it as an administrator?
