Excuse me mate, a tiny question… Can you force any “unexpected rules” upon the creators within the first 3 days? And is it mandatory to comply with every single one of the “unexpected rules” (i.e. does Rule #2: “Always follow the theme” also apply to these “unexpected rules/themes”?)

Yep, our “unexpected rules” are consistent with the theme to prevent any confusion.
You are required to follow all the rules, unless it said “you may….”
And we ensure that you have enough time to make your game therefore rules will be posted AT LEAST 3 DAYS before the jam ends.
