A bit, and the fog doesn't help the case.
But honestly, I found them too bright for my liking in the previous base too, so I ended up getting used to having them off when working on my command station and ended up buying glowsticks to light up areas and by day 20+ I had the command station room + the hallway passively lit up which ended up making my base feel comfy to be in at night.
