This is  incredible! I had a very similar idea to this,  with the game being instead set in 3D. Something I've struggled with was creating use-case scenarios for this concept  in puzzles. I'm so happy to see it so brilliantly executed. I had a smile on my face the whole time I played through this game. You've made my day.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I definitely struggled to make any puzzles at all. Originally I wanted to make like 20 levels, and do more with "aberrations" (like what if the red portion of a box switched with a skull sprite for a moment? Spooky). But in the end I only managed to come up with like 6 levels. But that is gamedev. You never know how well an idea will pan out before you try it. Thank you for playing!
