ok follow up why not store it on the client side to remove said things i assume its most likely in order to stop people from having unlimited access and storage as that would then become a modifiable thing in the hands of your users and there for would lose the incentive for the $240AUD+ or $95AUD base price purchase

I love the game but business model wise actions are clear as day
for $95 at minimum i would want this on GOG or have the installer with an offline mode Just in case like hundreds of creators before decide server cost is to much or is it we dont actually own the game 
your just giving us a licensed account that you guys can decide isnt valid any longer and prevent purchases from access what they paid for
