There is so much to love here - the inclusion of movement, the room-position-as-turn-order, wow.

My only problem with this is that it is so far afield of what a TTRPG experience is that I don't understand how this will fulfill the remit of the jam - I don't see how this will onramp new players at all.

I think this is pretty amazing in terms of pushing the limits of what TTRPGs can be but I don't think it's a good way of introducing a new player to what they typically are.

It has absolutely made me want to see the larger project tho.

I think it depends on how we define tabletop role-playing. I know that sitting and talking (with or without dices and with or without a GM) isn't the same as playing a role on stage, but the idea of "playing a role" seems close to me. The experience is physically different, but the group improvisation exercise is there and it was what I wanted to highlight.

Maybe it's a good way of introducing a new player of a precise audience to what they can be :) Anyway I sure need to develop this game a little more, even if the main thing is here. Thanks for your comment!

I confess I didn't expect a commedia dell'arte submission! Still thinking about this one.

I think it probably doesn't fit everyone but it's a way to bring some audiences into ttrpgs :)

You clearly have a theatre background like myself and creating a game using theatrical structures is very smart and cool.

It's very very freeform and emphasizes the character playing aspect more than anything.  I've read it twice and I'm still a little mixed up on the structure.

What I understand is that you do warm up, create a shared reality, create memory sense and do 5 action move or say something.

I think the only factors I feel is missing is a sense of unified context.  Something that really brings all the players into the the scene and allow them to act and react together.  A lot of times in improv structures establishing the relationship or shared work spaces or something that ties everyone together presses the narrative far faster and gives players/actors a more enriching reason for being there.

Amazing job loved it.

You have a theatre background?

yes I wanted it to be freeform, and I wanted it to be a short game: I have difficulties to synthetizing rules so a freeform game is better than a game with lots of incomprehensible rules.  If there are still misunderstanding on my game, I guess I need to clarify some points. Maybe the missing context is the explanation on the game presentation page "A warm-up roleplaying game, beginners-friendly, where you play as a character of a theatre play and you know that the play is coming to an end soon." or maybe I should write more about this context and the game needs a situation generator? (for example the type of the drama and the subject of the play? + the reason players are here, nice idea!)

Thank you for your useful review ! :)

no probs thanks for feedback on my game

And yes I ran a theatre company in San Diego and an improv company.  If you ever need help with similar projects glad to help.

oh that's great! Are you fond of theatre? Impro only?

thanks! it's nice to say this, if you have any (english) reading recommandation about link between theatre and ttrpg I should be really happy to know that 👍
