Now this was a pleasant surprise. Good sound design; I especially like how the sound of shooting feathers changes as you run low on ammo, because it means I don't have to glance down at the hud as much. I like how squishy all the characters are and Little Bird is a cute and badass protagonist, very fun to play as. The bosses are all unique and interesting. Some of them seemed easier than others, but I don't see anything wrong with that. I had a lot of trouble with Ms Toad. My favorite was Jinmom: she surprised me multiple times, and even took me to a mutual KO at the end (but I still got the star for defeating her). The final boss is exhileratingly difficult. Overall I had a blast.
