What equipment do you recommend I bring to defeat the Dodo?

Ummm. I'm having this issue that when I downloaded the DLC I didn't get more quest and idk how to continue and get the new underwears.

I started on ver 1.1.0 and I continued playing now using the DLC. Soooo how do I continue or resume the quest to unlock new underwears
