Wow Ovelton! Quite a lot of ideas you’ve got here. Thanks for all the suggestions! I will see if I can address each of them.
1-3: Currently belly is just a size number of 0-3 Indicating the contents would be possible and allow for these sorts of things to be implemented.
4: Animating enemies eating other things would be a lot of work so probably not worth it for only one power/upgrade, but the idea of a belly buddy is a good one.
5: You actually move slower and have a longer dodge cooldown with belly size already. Maybe making it a little more pronounced, but yes I want to add reasons to play with a full stomach but need to add some sort of risk reward benefit. Maybe reduced cost of breath weapons based on belly size or something.
6: Would that be like instant game over then if you can’t escape? Not sure I see the benefit.
7: Chomp hits multiple targets already which might make a swarm trivial, unless I made them immune to chomp and not to gulp.
8: Since I use a random map maker for the levels, that probably won’t work, There is probably some sort of maze maker but I would need to learn how to do it.
9: Random non enemy loot/food/stuff added in levels is a great idea and shouldn’t be super hard to do.
10: Change from rogue-like to rogue-lite? Possible, but a lot of work to code and implement.
11: Lowering maximum health/reforms would kind of be a pain due to the object used to display them (I already had to make 2 separate objects for the max 4 health/reforms) But not impossible. The store that takes other forms of payment than money is a good idea though.
12: A Super hard mode would be pretty easy to add
