can people who purchased your games on Itch.io expect update's to the game? or are we just SOL?

It depends on how you purchased it there are some sales that do not accommodate the update and there are some sales that do read the fine print in the sales for example I got a single version for like three or five dollars with no updates but I also bought one on sale for $10 and that one comes for all the updates
