Hello there!

I really enjoyed the concept of the game, being a magic student and having to sneak around to learn secret techniques. However there were some other issues that I found that RaisingCain13 did not meantion:

  •  The time counts up weird, for example when 8 seconds have past the time is displayed as follows 0:8, instead of a more user friendly way 0:08.
  • There is a section in the map where two doors are very close together, and when both opened at the same time, it is impossible to get through.
  • There were some texture glitches when walking alongside, and into walls.
  • The enemies can see you through walls and will follow you through them too, although they cannot kill you through the walls like they can with doors.
  • You cannot pick up the second key without having picked up the first key. Which can be a little frustrating as a player.
  • With the current door setup, if you close the beginning door and you die, you are softlocked in the beginning room and you have to restart the game to continue.
  • I expected to hear a sound when breaking a wall.
  • In some areas it seems that you can walk of the edge, this is not the case, although it does break some emersion of being in a magic school.
  • You can walk through all the bookcases on the map.

That being said I do like a lot of aspects of the game! The art style is pretty and fits the concept really well. I also enjoyed the little hints of what your abilities could do, this was further reinforced by the icons of the abilities. Because of that the player has some sense in what the abilities can do without a difinitive explaination. I also enjoyed the way the enemies moved after you got away. As they will keep following you or stand still for a little bit before following their designated path again. I also liked the fact that you could push the debris around and destroy it with your magic ball.

Overall a pretty fun little game with a good concept!
