I have a Motorola (I don't know what version it is), and no, I haven't played any of the older versions, and trying to load a previous save still results in crashing (it crashes every time I select an option for what cryptid I would rather be)
Does it give you an error report? I'm seemingly unable to recreate the glitch
No, it just completely crashes, and closes the game.
I have the same problem, if you ever find a solution please tell me lol
