How many phases does the gym boss has? How many bullets it need to kill it? Can I still damage it if it kneels down (between the phase)?
It has 2 phases. You need about 3-4 full clip i guess. Never counted. You can still damage it if it's kneels.

I played the game plenty of times. There is no more than 2 phase or I don't know about it.
