As the story continues, Charles is imprisoned, Steven and Folduin die. Depending on your personality and the decisions you make, these characters can change their minds against you, help you or send soldiers to you. The other characters (Noah, Remmy, Miliyra, Laura, Hudson) are much more detailed. You can reach the 5 different endings of the game with one of these characters, or you can be alone in the 6th ending, which is the worst ending. Each character has a different dialog with you at the end and can give you important clues you need for the next game.
