I could totally make that in Twine, with array methods and the like. The problem is that it wouldn't be much of a display, unless I used actual modular images, but then it wouldn't fit the twine aesthetic. It would be just as easy to play the original low-graphics snake game and use a vivid imagination to do the rest.

I don't mind seeing multi, but it's not really something I seek out, to be quite honest. The passion for the project is the only thing keeping these games from joining my (checks notes) 9 in-progress or shelved ones.

I'm not good at ASCII art, either. The boobs in Yuri were trial and error for a very simple shape. I totally ripped the Earth from some ascii art gallery.

Regarding your first statement - that’s why I suggested simplistic pixel art! You can just make b/w images with resolution close to 16*16 and they would fit nicely in twine. (Maybe just as progress bar on top)

Regarding multi - yeah it’s not for everyone, but it was worth to try)

Little side note, we are working on twine game Hyper Farm atm (you can guess the premise), and I would really like to know you opinion about it! You can find me on our discord server, linked in Titanum game page (cheeky self promotion, hue hue hue) https://durak1251.itch.io/titanum
