It's probably an unintentional side effect, but the environment of the game reminded me of Cardboard Cowboy pipes, and it added an extra element of threat to the game XD.
In all seriousness though, neat game. Took me a while to figure out the momentum and timing of controls, but once I did, I started to become one with the liquid. Seeing the virus sizzle away on the firewall was satisfying. I would've loved a sound effect for the sizzle to maximize the satisfaction.
Level design was well thought out, tough, but satisfying when completed. I love that the level design is thought out to the point that you can collapse your virus burn a picture without meaning to, but the ramps lead a lil bead of your body over. Really adds to the fast pace intention of the puzzle platforming.
For some weird reason the music immediately triggered me to think of a sped up version of the song Mr. Brightside by the Killers in my head. I'm not sure why, and the lyrics don't really fit the song, but yet somehow it does. I suppose it's appropriate it did, given that Windows XP was released 2 years prior to that Killer's song.
Main things that would've helped me be less frustrated in my first playthrough would be:
1. A dedicated grab button for the lil red dot.
2. A different colored dot that I could use as reference to see if my momentum was enough to make it through the grate, or get my virus to be stable on a singular block.
Overall, stellar job everyone. Had no idea y'all were working on a game.
