Thank you so much for playing our game and for the nice feedback! We unfortunately handled the generation of assets on the map on the last day of the jam - resulting in a whole lot of tree logs and not a whole lot of Altar. We're hoping to resolve this and more when the judging is over!
One use for fertilizer you may not have run into is to bypass the long waiting time of growing your friends back when they die! But your feedback is valid and we'll have a look at some potential tweaks in the future :D
