This is a very nice game for a first-time beginner project especially using a low-level library like Raylib. I have used Raylib extensively so I know exactly how hard this is. There's something very beautiful about building everything from scratch and being able to understand every little aspect of your game. Kudos to you!

Thanks! I really enjoyed the process. It was really hard at first, but it started to make a bit of sense after I understood how the game loop works and how animations work. I agree learning about every detail is very satisfying, because you can really prove to yourself that you know how its done under the hood, and you learned a new skill. Overall it was really fun, and I learned a lot. I heard there might be another Game Jam during spring break. If there is, I'm looking forward to it!
