Rhythm heaven fundamentally does not work with calibration. the visual and audio feedback of all minigames would essentially require turning back time if we wanted to implement offset unlike other games where the input can be easily changed or set late. We do eventually plan on implementing a custom audio engine a-la Bits & Bops to reduce latency to almost nothing, though.
I'm not sure I understand why this would be. I assume most latency controls would introduce a 500ms delay across the board, and then use the latency setting to account for it. From there, you can 'turn back time' in either direction as needed...right?
I'm not a developer, of course. Just a drummer that is worse at this game than I would expect to be
