Nice! Been looking forwards to this, so far i can only suggest having a more zoomed out screen to make up for the speed our character and the enemies have, or atleast bump a little bit down the character's size (same as hitboxes) to make up for the lack of screen reaction.
One thing i love about captivity it's the dodge mechanic, and while being helpful it is also situational, and seeing as the game kinda likes that it's kinda tuff.
Also! I find the background forest jittery for whatever reason whenever i jump. Good game!
